Day 46, Brossac

Up until recently Paul's close companion was a dog called Sidney.  Sadly he passed away and Paul buried him at the rear of the property.  I took it upon myself to clean up his grave and mark it with some stones, as my job for the day.  I think Paul was quite chuffed.
In the afternoon we relaxed before going into Brossac and having tea at a local club.  Neil watched Paul and some other locals play poker while I drank wine.  Neil got back eventually around midnight apparently, having enjoyed himself at one of his favourite pastimes.  (Paul was to eventually get into the big competition in Paris I believe, having won the local one).
