Day 47, Brossac

I had a bit of a hangover, but still managed to clean up the back garden, which was quite a big job.
Meanwhile Neil's foot was still swollen, so he asked Roy what he thought.  He advised us to go into Chalais to the GP just to be safe, so Paul drove us in there.  The doctor we saw thought it was gout, but when we told Roy he wasn't convinced and suggested we visit an outpatients in Bordeaux when we visited there in the weekend.
The leg didn't stop Neil playing petanque, and so in the evening we had a match against the locals.  Once again Neil stayed on for another round before coming home with Paul.
