Day 13, Brussels

We met with Alex  during his lunch hour at a Japanese noodles restaurant called Umamido.  It was Tokyo revisited, with edamame beans, seaweed, ramen and sake. Itadakemasu!
In the afternoon we went to the local Friday markets with Helen and watched her buy stuff, pretending we were locals but not fooling anybody.
Dinner was at a traditional Belgian restaurant called De Hoef, with friends of Helen's from England and New Zealand.  All had left their home countries long ago and now happily lived in Belgium.  It is easy to see why after spending a few days there. I will definitely come back again, hopefully in the near future.
