Today Helen took us on the train to Gent. The rain had gone and we had a really nice day exploring Belgium's answer to Amsterdam - minus the girlies (I think). We cruised the canal and ate mussels - bliss! Helen and I are definitely related.
That night we met up with Alex for tea at the Cowfish Burger restaurant. Again it was a gastronomic delight, and paved the way for the rest of our trip. We really had ten weeks of wine, beer and food tasting if the truth be known.
