This was one of the 4 days on our 70 day trip that it rained, but it didn't matter - as with Tokyo, when you're on holiday in foreign lands, unless you want to get a tan it's not a tragedy.
We spent the day with Helen showing us around the city. We had drinks at a pub near the famous Manneken Pis, (pretty self explanatory), then lunch at a place recommended by nephew Alex, called Yeti. Yummy. Tea was provided by Helen. Yummy again.
There is definitely more to Brussels than government buildings.
