We woke up to a beautiful day - picture postcard perfect. We walked through the town to the beach, and whilst it was everything you would expect, it was sad to come across the memorials to the terror victims of the Bastille Day attack right there. We spent a bit of time just taking it all in and reading the different dedications to loved ones who lost their lives. What a crazy world we live in now.
After lunch we found a Hop On Hop Off bus and went for a ride up into the surrounding hills from where we could see how the city was laid out. We didn't have the time or energy to walk it at this stage.
On our travels we came across another Hard Rock Cafe overlooking the beach, so of course we had to try out the menu, just to check if it lived up to the standards of Berlin and London. It did.
