After leaving the Airbnb we walked all the way to the station via Rue St Catherine shopping precinct, the longest shopping street in the world, and the river. Bordeaux really is a pretty city and not too big.
We caught the train back to Chalais and Paul met us at the station at 5.30.
In the evening I got an email from Lynette at YMCA Vocational School wanting to know if I could do a skype interview for a job I applied for before leaving. I had resigned myself to the fact that I would probably have to go back to Arethusa, after spitting the dummy at my principal (who I thought was a friend) on the last day of term. Maybe things will work out after all.
