It was raining when we woke up, so Anne suggested she drive us to a coffee shop/art workshop place called the Reclamation Room in Uppermill. It was certainly different, with lots of works in progress around the eating area.
As the rain had eased, rather than take a bus back we walked through the surrounding area and discovered Dobcross Village. It was really steep in places, but we made it. Each day saw us getting a tiny bit fitter!
That evening we went to the Boarshurst Band Hall and Neil joined in their practice. Again it was really professional, and Neil even got a t-shirt out of it!
