Day 16, London

Neil woke with a fright in the night as his side of the bed had collapsed!  It was one of those cheap slat beds which don't really fit properly.  I slept right through it, hearing only an occasional creak.  He spent the rest of the night on the couch, then put the bed back together properly in the morning.
We then went Victoria Station on the bus and took another bus to Oxford for the day.
There we did the usual open top bus tour, and had our first British pub meal this trip - cod and mushy peas for me and a steak for Neil.  Always good.
We saw a few interesting buildings, including a couple featured in the Inspector Morse series and the Alice in Wonderland shop made famous by Lewis Carroll.
Going back into London there was an accident so we had to take a detour, and then struck the usual congestion of the city. We got off at Notting Hill Gate and took the 390 bus all the way to Camden, which was easy.
