This was the last day of our adventure so we made it a big one. After making the most of the room we packed up for a noon checkout. We left the bags and caught a train to an even bigger shopping centre called Emquartier. It was really three buildings of around eight levels each. It was nice and cool in the air con and I bought Chelsea some more makeup.
We went back to the motel at 4.30 and relaxed around the pool. When we went down to order a cab they told us we wouldn't get one before nine because of the traffic so we decided to take our bags on the train again.
Two hours later, after braving the humidity and the crowds pushing and shoving, we made it to the airport. It is huge but has no seats. Plenty of high end shops though. Priorities.
Finally, at midnight, we flew out of Thailand bound for home. It has been an amazing adventure and it certainly won't be our last ...
